Feb Week 3
Mickael Smolen #2 A cracking week for the number 2 as he chases down Seb for the title. He prd starting on Sw and moved through various flaps including YD and BP. He then brutalised RR 035"98 and finished up the week with a strong time on RMC4 1'20"63.
Guilherme Arantes #24 The smk legend picked up the pace this week with double prs on PC, 047"00 and 014"18 and also double prs on MC.
Tom van Kessel #57 - Tom had another week of mass pring, hitting mainly the Retro tracks. Dont worry Tom, everyone hates retro rainbow road.. kinda
POW:
Its a no brainer this week, Mickael Smolen.
New players
Adam Frederick 14 from Canada. Joseph Knighton who is also 14 and from Newcastle in the UK. Joseph sent in a sc time but well see how good he can do on non-sc.

Update for awards (Thursday, February 18th)
Tom @ 03:43 AM PST [link]
|
Ok,
In attempt to catch up with the updating and make it more current were going to skip the updates from December and Jan, here is a summary below.
Pows: December Week 1 - Guilherme Arantes December Week 2 - Florian Chollet December Week 3 - Tom Van Kessel December Week 4 - Florian Chollet
POM: December - Florian Chollet
POQ Mickael Smolen
POY - Robert Szabo (needless to say this was probably the tougest decision ive made since the site was reborn. There were brilliant reasons for both but its was Roberts overall climb which took it. Some quite rightly have a case to say that Mickael got where he got by non-zzmt but the counter arguement is that we all have to adapt if we need to in order to become number 1, its as hard to adapt as it is to beat the top players without zzmt. The best thing is that both players know they deserve it but i have to pick one).
January Week 1 - Sven den Hartogh January Week 2 - Tom van Kessel January Week 3- Robert Szabo January Week 4- Mickael Smolen
POM - Tom van Kessel
February Week 1 - Timur Ahmad Februrary Week 2 - Tom van Kessel
Ill do week threes proper update early next week. If someone wants to do a written update in the next few weeks drop me a pm and ill allocate you a slot. Guaranteed.
p.s. A warm welcome to the new players in the last two or so months - Thomas, Thomas, Joseph and Adam.

Now that October is done with, heres the recap of November. November saw a lot of activity from members old and new, including several people who just took their game to the next level, curb stomping their old times into oblivion. Hopefully we won't need too many more block updates like these past two in the future.
Week 1: Mickael Smolen Mickael continued his SR spree this week with a double on RP, 5926/1693. And if that wasnt enough, he threw in a nice RR 3lap of 3903. Robert Szabo Just one PR from Robert this week, a 11540 on RMC3 good for #11. Daniel Pabst Another person with just one PR, Daniel sent in a RMC2 flap of 808, good for #4 and a God standard. Pete Robinson Pete had another great week, improving almost half his times again. Good times on PC and BC3. Christophe Charignon Christophe sent in a lot of times from the past two weeks, improving more than half of his current PRs. Good flap on GV1 in there. Kevin Pillinger Kevin sent in another load of PRs, and shows no signs of stopping. Im not sure exactly what more you can add to that. It looks like he has some good potential on MC based on his improvements there.
Week 2: Mickael Smolen Mickael was at it again, with several top-5 PRs for us, improving RR to 3723, along with a WR tie on BC1, and a BL WR of 11288, among others. Florian Chollet Florian returned this week, and started hitting time after time in the top 10. Highlights included VL1 4188 and a good GV3 of 5770. Chuck Foster Chuck sent in some good times, including two new records on SW, with 11013 and 02050. Alvaro Fababu Alvaro sent in a good 14 times for a good cut, including some good times on BC4 with 13940 and 3133. Kevin Pillinger Kevin sent in more than 30 new times this week. Good improvements on CCI and YD.

Florian Chollet Continuing on his times from last week, Florian sent in 4 new times this week, including a new WR of 5751 on RGV3. Also of note was a great RiR lap of 2233. Robert Szabo Robert also played some RGV3, ending up with a good time of 5956. Daniel Pabst Daniel kept up his steady pace of PRs with a good lap on RMC3 of 1197. Kevin Pillinger Another active week for Kevin, sending in more than 30 new times this week as well. Keep it going! Alvin Le A good SGB time from Alvin this week. Looking forward to the rest of his times!
Week 4: Mickael Smolen More top 5 times from Mickael this week, with a great RR lap time of 1042. Florian Chollet A couple good times on RDP1 this week from Florian, with 5945/954. Robert Szabo The MKDS guru had some good times this week, including BC4 3082 and CI1 500. Daniel Pabst Daniel had a few RMC4 PRs, ending up with a very nice 12208/1357. Cole Gilbert Cole had a couple of RBC1 PRs this week, with a good 11361/1274. Andrew Howes I had a few SG records, managing to pull off the right strats enough for a 5796/1333. Alvaro Fababu Many new times for Alvaro, with a nice KB1 lap of 333, and a good CCI lap of 1560. Kevin McAteer What can I say? Kmacc had over 40 new times, with just about all of them cutting upwards of 20 places. Highlights include BC3 lap, GV1 5lap, and RMC4 lap. Daniel Sampson Daniel had a handful of times this week, with some good work on RCI1 and RMC1.
Awards: Player of the Week: Week 1: Mickael Smolen for two new SRs. Week 2: Florian Chollet for many high level PRs, barely beating out Mickael. Week 3: Florian Chollet for a new RGV3 WR, along with other high level PRs. Mickael was just about even this week too. Week 4: Kevin McAteer, for taking so many of his times to a new level. Player of the Month:Mickael Smolen, for many top-5 times, and for becoming #2!
Enjoy the holiday season!

Pete Robinson Pete sent in a complete update to his timesheet and then some, improving even more as the week went on. Kevin Pillinger A new player this week, he immediately began sending in improvements to his times. Matt Stankey Matt sent us 20 new times this week, and is still improving. Alvin Le sent in a new PC 3lap, but still needs to work on filling in his timesheet. George Dimitriou sent us times for 3 more tracks, but still has a ways to go before hes done.
October week 3:

October Week 1
News
Not much activity this week so you can have a short update on something random. I went to the aquarium the other day and saw some cool sharks and turtles. I dont like Moray Eels though (as any of you who have seen my youtube account will know) and i managed to not really see one. Anyway, the moral of this story is that if you dont all kart more then ill bore you with my crap stories.
Andrew Howes #39 - Decent week for Andrew, managing to improve his Ribbon Road flap twice down to 02482.
Pierre Ruffin - Double prs on PC 04956 and 01469. Work on a full time sheet this week so we can rank you better.
Christophe Charignon #91 - While you were all sleeping, someone.. who goes by the name of Christophe the assisin Charignon was taking out the prs. Sniping them off one by one. He improved a load of courses and also hit some top 50 times! Just shows what you can achieve with a bit of focus! Try RGV3 for a bit longer, i think you have some good potential there.
Robert Lee #64 - Roberts also shown that even during the pr recession that he can hold is own. A nice av fin cut this week from Robert with some tasty prs on LP and RGV2 flap.
New players
Jesse McGurty, from the US, hes just started playing so has a few mushroom cup times. Look forwards to a full set asap! Welcome to the site!
Pow Pow this week is going to go to Christophe Charignon and an hourable mention for Roberts performance.

September Week 4
News
Robert Szabo #7 - Some small cuts from Robert this week bringing him closer to Florian, hes still some way off but he seems to be making progress. I dont need to tell the mk veteran to go for wins on his opponent (albeit easier said than done eh?) Anyway, some nice times on RDP1 despite not being satisfied with his own run and also a nice SG flap 011"70 were the highlights of his prs.
Daniel Pabst #15 - A few nice cuts from Daniel boosted him forwards. He hit some great times including a nice 5lap on RGV1. Next up is one of the smk greats Laflamme.
Robert Lee #64 - After a storming week last week Robert had a bit of light rain in the form of two prs RaRo 3lap 05491 and 01598. Lets hope its the eye of the hurricane.
Stacy Needham #33 - A good week for Stacy, the prs kept flooding in and he made alot of ground up on Enzio. Another week like this and hell be sure to pass him. This week was the flap week!
Sebastian Stellmacher #1 - Small improvement to extend his lead this week by Seb. His flap on RaR (010"41) is hardcore.
Pierre Ruffin - Slightly lower down the table Pierre R hit two prs, one on PC 3lap 04978 and one on the flap 01480. Alot of people played PC this week, jostling for position.
Christophe Charignon #91 - A quiet week from Christophe with a couple of prs on CL 055"58 for the 3lap and 016"20 for the flap.
Alvin van Asselt #22 - Speaking of PC, 049"93 and 014"62. I hope Bill Gates doesnt try to do us for copyright.
David Schiering #30 - Go on.. guess, guess which track David prd on this week.. yes!!! You guessed it.. PC flap 013"90.
Andrew Howes #38 - Quite a few prs from Howes this week including some nice times on LC. Hes just behind the legend Dave Smith and also long inactive Coen. Another week like this week and hell pass a couple of players in the high 30s.
Pete Robinson #83 - A 3pt cut this week from Pete gave him quite a boost up the charts passing updater April in the process. He played the track of the week and also concentrated on pring on the super circuit tracks. Maybe next week will be the retro ones?!
Pow
This weeks pow goes to Stacy Needham who had a good av fin cut which just out weighed Petes in terms of his rank. Was alot of players active this week though so keep up the karting everyone!

September Week 3
News
Stacy Needham #33 We kick off with Stacy this update. One of the most active players through September. With loads of prs he managed to move up 3 places to sit behind Enzio robocop Frujitier. Some of those times that got him there were his RMC2 flap: 00868 and his RDP2 flap 01182.
Robert Szabo #7 As much as Robert hates his own performances, he should at least be pleased that he passed Flemmer in this update. He had a pretty huge av fin cut considering how high up was. I think it was big cuts on important (weaker) times. Notably his double prs on BC1 043"41 and 012"65. Went along way. His retro BC2 was pretty sick too. Passing Flemmer was worthy of Pow. So ka-pow!
Sebastian Stellmacher #1 Sorry champ, it just doesnt cut it these days knocking out srs left right and center. With no less than four records this week (he improved on his RiR flap) he took the RiR flap down to 022"18 and then destroyed (my favourite) RaR 035"20. He then went on to beat the RiR 5lap with a smashing 1'10"65. His average finish is now 1.6.. which if you dont know.. is *#@$!% low!!
Pete Robinson #87 Pete had a good week this week with a 0.6pt cut but wasnt enough to pass Jacob for 86th. Keep up the good work and nice pr on MC Flap.
Christophe Charignon #94 - Moving up two places this week Christophe set his sights on some country records which he achieved! Nice times on RaR.
Mickael Smolen #3 Mickael doesnt muck around, his PR edges him ever closer to Pierre who is now not a million miles away! His double prs on SG 048"31 and 011"83 see to that.
Robert Lee #64 One of this weeks biggest movers and was the hot contender for pow. Robert moved up a whopping 6 places this week!! A storming week submitting batch after batch of prs. His best times ended up on the retro tracks. Time to go for some flaps!
Chuck Foster #43 Ole Chuck joins us this week with a nice and simple pr on PC 0'49"81.
Alvin van Asselt #23 - Another single pr this time from Alvin on RMC1 flap 007"84.
Daniel Pabst #16 - Last but not least is Daniel Pabst who made a couple of small prs on RP 3lap 1'05"33, RiR 3lap 1'15"63 and flap 23"31 and a couple more.
New players George Dimitriou from Melbourne, Australia. If you dont know George from the message board/forum then hes both a seasoned mk64 player and also a cool mafia player. Welcome to the site.
Pow Tough one this week, Robert Lee came very close but it has gone to Robert Szabo for his passing of Flemmer (higher up the chart).

September Week 2
News:
Daniel Pabst #16 Daniel makes a welcome return making a couple of nice prs including RCI1 5lap 042"16. Hes very close to passing Seb Holmiere.
Florian Chollet #6 Despite his cuts, Florian actually lost some Av fin this week due to the places around him pring. However that didnt stop him battling out a great time on RDP2 5lap 1'11"46 and flap 011"53.
Florian Valandina #18 Another Florian, another pr! This one was on RCI1 045"31.
Christophe Charignon #96 Christophe picks up after a quiet week and hits the retro tracks hard. He pulls of a nice flap on RGV2 and also improves his RDP3 times considerably. This is made more of a feat when you take into account that one of the shoulder buttons is broken on his SP and the other shoulder button is broken on his DS!
Robert Lee #70 Showing what he is made of this week. He made a whopping 14pt cut in his average finish and pulls off some times which shows what his potential could be if he puts in the energy as he has this week. Prs on BC1 and RDP3 flap were most notable. He also picks up pow for his huge av fin cut.
Mickael Smolen #3 A solid pr from the number 3 on PC 3lap 047"68. Credit where its due, its always hard to pr on the first course of an MK game after this long. He also put in a formidable lap on SG with 011"84.
Robert Szabo #8 In continuing his consistency Robert sneaks up with a small, but important, pr on RVL2 flap 005"40.
David Schiering #31 Last but not least is David who made double prs on PC 3lap 0'48"82 and flap 014"12.
Pow Robert Lee for his 14pt cut
New players Matt Stankey, 25 from the USA (Madison, WI). Welcome to the site!

September Week 1
A relatively quiet week this week with just three players active.
Pete Robinson #84 - Another good week from Pete as he prs on almost every course he touches. Not just course prs but flaps as well. Keep edging closer to the walls and watching the vids.
Stacy Needham #33 Couple of prs this week from Stacy. He managed to bring down his BC1 3lap to a very respectable 04386 and lowered his flap to 01298.
Robert Szabo #7 - These were the prs which took Robert into the top 10 (his current rank at the time of updating is next to his name im just slow). Robert made some great cuts on RVL1 5lap 044"65 and flap 005"23 and a nice RP flap to name just a couple.
Pow
Pow goes to Robert Szabo for his move into the top ten. Congratulations Robert.
