Hello 2009!

Movement

#1 Thomas Bolton ended the year on a strong note, snatching three records. His first was submitting his DKP time from late last week, continuing of the DKP War with Ben, knocking the 3lap down to 1'44"603. We're still awaiting the sub there! His next two were on F8C Non-PRB. For the 3lap, he took it sub 1'14 with a 1'13"861. He then took the flap down to a sick 24"404. His small cuts made him end the year with a comfortable lead over #2 Ben Stoneman of about 1 AF point. Speaking of Ben, he decided to hit a WR of his own this week on his favorite course, none other than WP. Ben took his 3lap down to a crazy 1'57"823 and is approaching the point of being two seconds faster than the next best time. Will 2009 be the year Ben makes a move for the #1 spot?

#6 Nick Welch made a small comeback to improve his RR times, the worst ranked of all his courses. He brought them down to 1'59"892 Myth E and 39"303 Titan A. The RR flap is now his only remaining Titan time left on his timesheet. His RR times however, are still his worst ranked, but they are now at least closer to the others. These two times produced a 0.1719 AF cut, moving him further into a void of nothingness. Further in the top 10 was #10 Milan Pacino, defending his UK crown from #11 Abel Marques with a 0.3125 AF cut to bring the cushion to 1 AF point. His cuts came from four PRs, which included very strong times on LC2 with 1'19"129 Myth E and 25"793 Myth D. Milan is now getting very close to Myth B overall as well.

A few strong cuts for the rest of the top 20, starting with #14 Marshall LeVett. Marshall jumped up two spots with a 2.1250 AF cut and took complete control of #2 USA. Marshall hit 3 God times this week, which included his main focus on DKP with 1'46"092 and 34"950, ranked #3 and #4 respectively. Marshall is also now getting pretty close to becoming Myth C overall. Next in line was #16 Lenny Andreev, jumping up three spots to finish the year, coming from a 1.3906 AF cut. These came from a variety of 3lap PRs which included times ranked from MC to TA. Finishing the top 20 activity was #19 Nicolas Barco, who cut 1.0156 to move up a spot, and is now within half an AF point of french champion. Nicolas hit 5 PRs, 5 flaps, 5 God times. The most impressive of those were SG flap 21"382 and FS flap 32"229.

#27 Zach Sterling continues to make more and more cuts. This week he took off another 0.8593 AF, to push himself up ahead of former 1-day champion Lars Stelzig. Zach now has two fellow americans ahead of him, and can be in the top 5 USA if he passes them. Next up was Joep van Gelder, who broke into the top 30 at #30 with his 1.4374 AF cut. The crazy dutchie continues moving up the ladder, finishing the year by passing two players. Unfortunately he landed right on 6.5000 ARR to end the year, so he just missed out on Titan A by one standard. Slightly behind is #35 Dallas Wilde, who cut under 0.1 AF but still moved up a spot due to #36 Mark Engelsman's AF loss.

Further down outside the top 50, we have some smaller cuts from #63 Jay Kreeler -0.9688 and #70 David Roldan -3.8281. Further then them though were the biggest cuts in the top 100. Those came from #90 Andrew Mao with a 22.2340 AF cut, and #98 Marcus Whitley with a 19.9220 AF cut. Both players jumped into the top 100 with these big cuts. Both players started at Hero E; Andrew finished the year at Hero C while Marcus made it to Hero D.

Movement outside the top 100 included #116 Robert Lee -11.9070, #132 Stefano Piazza -1.0460, #151 Alvin van Asselt -23.0620, #172 Richard Penkalla -3.4210, #200 Nicholas Harvey -1.8750, #201 Dimitri Mentali -1.5160, #203 Leonelli Wilker -11.7650, #273 Alex Malone -6.3750, #396 Pedro Fonseca -13.1410, #473 Toni Leino -1.7190, #482 Jeff Hensel -14.4220, #535 Zack Weber -16.0000 and #562 Heesang Yun -34.3960.

New Records

There were 2 WR's improved (blue) and three non-prb times (pink).

Ben pushed his WP 3lap time even further, now knocking it down to a 1'57"823. The next WR came from Kizuna on Test Circle, where he made it a three-way tie with his own 3"208.

For non-prb, Thomas brought down both F8C records, with 1'13"861 being the first sub 1'14, and a 24"404 flap. The other non-prb time was Ben's WP 3lap of 1'57"823.

Awards

To end the year, this player made enough cuts to edge out another player in a similar position. He cut 22 AF points and moved into the top 100. He also went from Hero E to Hero C overall. For his large cut and breaking barrier into the top 100, Andrew Mao wins the fourth POW of December!

His efforts weren't just a one week thing though. He consistently cut his times throughout the month, jumping from #125 to #90. This included large AF gaps where he'd have to cut 10+ points to move up three spots. In this time period he also became Hero C overall down from Expert A. For his consistent and trong cutting, and jump into the top 100, Andrew Mao wins the POM for the month of December!

POQ and POY to be determind.

Movement

#10 Milan Pacino keeps the AF activity going in the top ten this week with a new time on TTC. He improved his 3lap to 1'34"250 Myth C which cut 0.1094 points off his AF. He's been slowly moving closer to #9 Michele Magnaterra who is still a good two and a half AF points ahead while keeping his distance from #11 Abel Marques for that beloved UK crown. Still Myth C overall, Milan has some ways to go yet before moving up in ARR as well.

Next up is #19 Lenny Andreev who came up with some big times to move him into the top 20 on non-prb and Myth D overall thanks to a big 3 point AF cut. He's also ranked #19 on the prb charts now. It was quite a good mix of times from Lenny getting DS 3lap 1'33"140 Titan A, BC flap 37"166 Myth C, PC flap 18"033 Myth A, LC2 flap 25"975 Titan A, CI2 flap 15"943 Myth D, DKP 3lap 1'50"827 Titan D, and flap 35"600 Myth E. Once Lenny evens out his other times, he too can be a threat for a position in the top ten. It may be winter here but the competition continues to fire up in the land down under.

Around the top 30 area were a trio of active players, #28 Zach Sterling, #32 Joep van Gelder, and #36 Dallas Wilde. Zach improved a variety of times like CI2 3lap 49"592 Myth E and PG 3lap 1'29"420 Myth E. Despite coming up with a 1.2188 AF point cut, he was not able to move up on the charts since most people around here are well spaced. Joep is on the move as well scoring a few new times himself like KB2 flap 13"604 Titan B, PC flap 18"325 Titan C, CI2 3lap 50"092 Titan B, and flap 16"124 Titan B. Like Zach, Joep was stuck in the mud too not going anywhere with his 1 point AF cut. He does not have much more to go though before reaching the top 30 himself and Titan A overall.

Dallas is back in his usual fashion coming up with a big 3 point AF cut which moved him up 5 places and reached Titan B overall. Just like past updates, I can't list all his new pr's without writing a huge essay cluttered with digits everywhere so suffice to say, he tore shit up. A lot of good work on those longer tracks like BC, WP, SR, and he got another God time with KB2 flap 13"399. Dallas is only second to #8 Cole Gilbert in all of Canada now while #38 Jeff Ferencz-Nagy holds unto those honors on the prb side for now. Getting a new DS can do wonders in this game and given the high broken buttons and d-pads that mkds can inflict, I'm sure this is on a few people's wish list.

Farther down, #72 David Roldan went on a pr frenzy cutting 13 points off his AF. He jumped over 20 players racing from Hero C to Hero B overall in the process! Like Dallas, too many pr's to list but he did grab a CR on MC1 prb 3lap with 39"361. As David continues to balance his times out, we are sure to see him keep flying up the ranks at this kind of pace, great stuff! Finishing off the top 100 is Dallas' partner in crime, #81 Ben Sackville who moved up a couple places with his new times this week. He is on his way to Hero B overall making some solid improvements on SR and WS.

Lucky me, that's all the players making some AF cuts this week. No one likes a big wall of text.

Happy Holidays and we'll cya next year!!!

Movement outside the top 100 included #126 Robert Lee -20.8120, #129 Haddon Power-Cohen -2.7660, #134 Stefano Piazza -0.4540, #170 Austin Gates -2.3740, #173 Alvin van Asselt -5.3750, #178 Richard Penkalla -4.9380, #200 Nicholas Harvey -16.5630, #213 Leonelli Wilker -16.7810, #244 Daniel Pabst -5.3430, #246 Louis Nebout -31.4370, #381 Jose Karica -4.1710, #413 Pedro Fonseca -18.2810, #546 Zack Weber -6.0630, and #588 Sam Lee -12.2470.

New Records

There was 1 WR improved (blue) and one non-prb time (pink).

As you may have already seen, Thomas Bolton made yet another return to DKP where Ben took the 3lap record last week. While we may have to wait for the sub here, Thomas did reclaim it once more with a slightly faster time of 1'44"603, live replay.

For Non-PRB, same as above.

Awards

Quite a busy week for some players but the largest cuts come from a recent player to the top 100. Taking more than 10% off his AF, passing 20 players, and going Hero C to Hero B, David Roldan wins the POW for the third week of December!

Movement

#2 Ben Stoneman declared war over the lands of DK Pass for the [insert large number here]th time. Although falling just barely short of Thomas' flap WR with a 34"213 lap, Ben was at least able to take the 3lap away. Ben clocked in a time of 1'44"790, edging Thomas' nearly year old WR by a bit over seven hundredths of second. As great as the time seems, Ben's best splits are about a second faster than that time. Thomas will be soon ready to fight back and go for sub 1'44 as well within the upcoming week. Will this war truly ever end?

Both of the powerhouses of the UK are still going at it on the Non-PRB chart, with #10 Milan Pacino safe for now over #11 Abel Marques. Both had only small cuts, 0.0937 and 0.1562 respectively. Milan's only progress of the week came on MMF, where he hit 1'04"066 Myth C and 20"920 Myth D. Abel also hit just two PRs this week, his coming on TTC with Dual God times of 1'32"817 and 30"306. Both are still also inching their way towards Myth B, and should make it with one good week. On the PRB side, Abel cut a slightly higher 0.2031 AF to start to open up a bit of a gap between himself and #5 Giulio Centrone.

Another active UKer a bit further down was #23 Tim Shelbourne, who leaped over #24 Lenny Andreev with a nice 0.9062 AF cut. Like Milan, Tim had two PRs, both coming off of MMF, with times of 1'03"947 Myth C and 20"963 Myth E. Tim also has some goals to look forwards to in the near future -- just 1.8 AF pts overall away from a top 20 spot, and about 0.4 ARR until Myth D overall. Despite Lenny losing a spot on the Non-PRB chart, he was able to gain two spots on the PRB chart to jump into 21st there with his 0.7187 AF cut. Following the trend of all the players active ahead of him so far this week, Lenny hit two PRs, both coming on the same course. Lenny's time came on CI2, where he hit 47"831 and 15"799.

Finally, the one to break the trend is #28 Zach Sterling. Zach had an awesome week, banging out ten new PRs that resulted in a 2.6719 AF cut to catapult him further into the top 30, including passing #30 in the process for USA #7. Some of Zach's times this week included DS flap 29"805 Myth E, DP1 3lap 56"848 Titan B and CI2 3lap 49"837 Titan A. Zach also had a strong ARR cut in order to promote himself to Titan A overall. With the other three Titan A players inactive, Zach may certainly be the next Myth player. The only two players close enough to stop Zach for now are #31 Pol Gonzalez and #32 Joep van Gelder. Pol continues to cut slowly but surely, taking off 0.2813 this week to keep a decent gap between Joep and himself. Joep cut a bit more than that with a 0.4375 AF cut, which included a strong MMF flap of 20"971 Myth E. Both players are at about the halfway point from Titan B to Titan A, and should get the promotion within the next few weeks.

#40 Dallas Wilde cut a nice 2.6093 AF to move up four spots and into the top 40 and continues to make a strong showing for the quarter. #51 Von Flyler just missed out on a top 50 spot, cutting 5.3438 to move up five spots as well as become Titan D overall. #83 Ben Sackville cut 0.8750 AF but that was enough for him to jump over three players. FInishing off the top 100 was #92 David Roldan, who cut a good 5.8750 AF yet ironically only moved up two spots on the ladder.

Movement outside the top 100 included #110 Andrew Mao -9.0150, #113 Marcus Whitley -4.7500, #142 Robert Lee -23.9530, #151 Patrick Chea -22.3910, #172 Austin Gates -4.9850, #179 Florian Valandina -0.8750, #181 Alvin van Asselt -382.3130, #184 Richard Penkalla -4.8750, #216 Nicholas Harvey -13.2970, #231 Kevin Liang -18.2190, #235 Leonelli Wilker -13.2970, #401 Drew Semelsberger -0.3440, #433 Pedro Fonseca -4.3390, #436 Daniel Sampson -6.9530 and #548 Zack Weber -10.5780.

New Records

There were 3 WR's improved (blue) and one non-prb time (pink).

As mentioned earlier, ben reclaimed an old WR of his on DKP 3lap with a 1'44"790, beating Thomas' year old record. Kizuna struck back this week, this time on Nokonoko Course. Kizuna took both WRs, taking them down to 1'23"566 and 27"591, as seen here.

For Non-PRB, Ben took the DKP 3lap WR with 1'44"790.

Awards

Catching fire this week and hitting double digit PRs, this player bumped his way further up the top 30 and was able to become Titan A overall. Despite activity being more higher than in recent past weeks, he still did enough to stand out. With a good AF cut and a rank-up, Zach Sterling wins the POW for the second week of December!

Happy Birthday to me! big grin ~Kmacc

Movement

The battle for the UK crown continues with #10 Milan Pacino and #11 Abel Marques going at it this week. Milan was able to do enough this week to hold off Abel for now, cutting 0.3594 AF to keep nearly a half point lead over Abel. Milan's only four PRs were WP flap 39"682 Myth B, MMF 3lap 1'04"380, and MB 1'11"027 Myth C + 23"319 Myth A. Although Abel wasn't able to pass Milan this week, his 0.9532 AF cut helped to bring him into closer striking distance to pass Milan. Abel's cut was over twice as large with just three PRs from it, which were PC 3lap 55"832 Myth C, CI2 3lap 49"619 Myth E, and SG 3lap 1'09"388 Myth B. Since Abel's timesheet isn't very balanced, it'll be easier for him to make larger cuts off of less PRs. With 2008 soon coming to a close, it'll be an interesting battle to watch down the stretch to see if Abel can take the crown as well as place himself in the top 10 for nonprb. In ARR, both players are making strong progress towards Myth B overall, another possible goal for them before the year is up.

The only other activity inside the top 100 happened in the 30's area. #30 Zach Sterling led the way with a .1250 AF cut off a single PR, which came on TTC flap with 30"980 Titan A. For now, Zach was able to hold off #31 Pol Gonzalez, who cut a slightly bigger 0.2031 to inch his way towards Zach and a top 30 spot. Both of those players need to watch out for #32 Joep van Gelder though. Although he took it wasy this week with just two PRs on SG, he still managed a 0.7188 AF cut and doesn't seem like he'll be slowing down much any time soon. The last active player was #36 Sean Dyer, who after over a year of inactivity got a 0.1718 AF cut off of just one PR, that being a strong LM flap of 30"571 God.

For PRBers only, #13 Marshall LeVett hit a 6th ranked LC1 3lap of 1'11"287 to cut 0.1719 AF but moved nowhere. #28 Carlos Munoz cut a nice 0.6719 to move dangerously close to Pol Gonzalez on that chart for Spain Champion. Another week like this for Carlos could get him the PRB crown, but he still has a ways to go on the nonprb chart where he trails Pol by twenty seven spots.

Movement outside the top 100 included #113 Andrew Mao -11.3750, #165 Robert Lee -2.1880, #180 Florian Valandina -0.7660, #187 Richard Penkalla -5.3280, #232 Nicholas Harvey -16.8120, #242 Leonelli Wilker -8.8340, #400 Drew Semelsberger -7.0470, #436 Pierre Kirner -3.3280, #441 Daniel Sampson -15.7970 and #558 Zack Weber -3.9060.

New Records

There were 2 WR's improved (blue) and no non-prb times (pink).

After adding his name to the WR charts last week on the Dokan Course, David Roldan did again. This time he took the 3lap away from Kizuna, hitting a 1'23"628. The other record came on WS sc 3lap, where Giulio Centrone cut nearly a second off of his time to land very close to a sub, down to 1'52"023, beating BDash's nearly year old record by "15.

Awards

It may have been a very slow week, but this player still had a great week. He moved up twelve spots, and became the Hero player overall. If he continues like he is, he should make the top 100 in no time. For his strong efforts and good cuts, Andrew Mao wins the POW for the first week of December!

Seasons Greetings as another year wraps up!

Movement

#1 Thomas Bolton was making the move up this week in his close battle with #2 Ben Stoneman by improving his YF times to cut 0.1250 AF points. Since tying #8 Cole Gilbert's 3lap from well over a year ago, Thomas finally reclaimed the record there with 46"391 and almost beat #4 Fabien Da Silva's flap with 15"194. He also drove a new prb time which ranks number three with KB2 3lap 40"670. This helped him move a little farther ahead on the prb charts too so Ben still has his work cut out for him. He also came up with three new times which of course includes a new WP flap record of 38"896. Ben got the number three spot on SG non-prb 3lap with 1'08"500 and LC1 prb flap with 23"257. Let the battle continue!

#3 Giulio Centrone was also active giving LC2 non-prb flap a try coming up with 25"619 Myth B. Only Thomas and Ben have a faster time with Thomas on the verge of getting his 63rd God time. More recently, Giulio got back on WS where he held the sc records long ago. Before the month was out, Giulio improved his sc flap to 36"878 to close in on Thomas there. We'll probably see some WR's for next week. His new times did not help much on non-prb where Ben has a commanding lead but was almost able to close the gap on prb to reclaim the #4 spot from #11 Abel Marques.

Around the top ten, #9 Michele Magnaterra keeps getting pr's but doesn't really go anywhere. He made some solid improvements on non-prb with SG 3lap 1'09"565 Myth C, CI2 3lap 49"969 Titan A, and MC flap 29"655 Myth C. He also gave SG prb a go getting 1'02"804 and 20"752. For now, he remains behind Cole in the ranks. Elsewhere, #13 Matthew Ord continues to slowly close in on #12 Nicola Gatti with two new times this week. He improved his WP 3lap to 1'59"739 God and DH 3lap 1'12"336 to Myth B. Unless we see a ton of new times from him, the other UK players at the top can relax with their nice AF cushion.

Looming below is the USA's last shining star, #16 Marshall LeVett. Only second to #6 Nick Welch, he keeps on racking up the CR's and WR's. He took his handy work to SG non-prb where he got the 3lap record from #23 Lenny Andreev recently with a cool looking time of 1'08"080. For now, the honors await the player who goes sub 1'08 first. Marshall also improved his SG non-prb flap with 21"472 God and LM 3lap to 1'33"896 Myth C. While Lenny did not move up on the charts, he did get a few new times with SG non-prb flap 21"260, YF 3lap 47"383 and flap 15"545. All of them are God ranked but Lenny just missed tying Thomas' record on SG non-prb flap by one thousandth of a second! As long as he keeps hanging out with Ben, more WR's will come his way.

Wrapping up the top 100, #31 Pol Gonzalez had another week of new times but is no where closer to moving up in the ranks. Despite just six pr's, he cut 0.5625 AF points to close in on the players ahead of him which helps on the prb side to stay ahead of fellow countryman #57 Carlos Munoz who ranks #29 there. The biggest monster in the top 100 without a question was #32 Joep van Gelder. Starting outside the top 50 this month, he cruised from Titan D to Titan B with his huge surge in activity. With over 20 new pr's just this week, Joep cut 5.7187 AF points to pass 7 players as he now makes his way rapidly to Titan A overall. He also took the title of #1 Netherlands on non-prb now with #35 Mark Engelsman sitting back to enjoy #2 status at least. The only question is how far will Joep go and dominate the charts. Formal World Champ, #55 Miguel Rodriguez still has 4 CR's so Joep has some ways to go yet!

Movement outside the top 100 included #114 Marcus Whitley -30.9210, #121 Pierre Signamarcheix -1.5620, #125 Andrew Mao -12.8130, #129 Haddon Power-Cohen -9.5310, #167 Robert Lee -20.9840, #182 Florian Valandina -4.3430, #189 Richard Penkalla -11.8130, #247 Nicholas Harvey -25.0000, #413 Andrew Howes -3.6880, #453 Daniel Sampson -2.5470, #533 Alvin van Asselt -6.5320 and #557 Zack Weber -5.8440.

New Records

There were 4 WR's improved (blue) and three non-prb times (pink).

Ben Stoneman started things off with another WP flap record of 38"896. Out of no where, the Dokan Course got some activity with Kizuna, a Japanese player, taking down Robert Szabo's ancient times with a much cleaner run going sub 1'24 first with 1'23"867, live replay. He also got a slightly quicker flap with 27"618. In the middle of this, Thomas Bolton reclaimed the YF 3lap getting 46"391. Also joining in on the Dokan action was David Roldan who blew the flap away with the BLS taking it down to 27"200, live replay.

For non-prb, Ben got WP flap 38"896, Thomas got YF 3lap 46"391, and Marshall took the SG 3lap with 1'08"080.

Awards

Without much going on in the top 100, one player stood out among the rest with his massive pr pace and chart destruction. The Dutchie enjoyed another time of lax activity which made his accomplishments stand even more racing Titan C to Titan B overall, cutting another 15% off his AF, and almost into the top 30. For another big week of karting. Joep van Gelder wins the POW for the fourth week of November.

It should not come as a surprise since only one player near the top was able to move over thirty places as he made his way up the Titan ranks. Cutting over 30% of his AF, he jumped all the way up to #32 and Titan B overall from starting outside the top 50 this month. Suffice to say, he got a massive amount of pr's to pull it off. For his big quick improvement in the charts and rising Dutchie, Joep van Gelder wins the POM for the month of November!

Movement

#2 Ben Stoneman went on a rampage this week getting over 15 new times with some WR's to show for it. He took another tenth off his AF to keep dangerously yet comfortably close to #1 Thomas Bolton who had his share of WR's this week also. Ben started on TTC going sub 1'32 on the 3lap as well with 1'31"942. He followed that up with his own sub 1'30 on DS getting 1'29"944. For his first new record, Ben got the PG non-prb flap almost going sub 28 with a time of 28"001 to beat #4 Fabien Da Silva's record from over a year ago. He then improved his KB2 non-prb 3lap and BP 5lap with 42"606 Myth B and 42"813 Myth A, respectively. Next, he took the DP1 non-prb flap record which was also over a year going only three thousandths of a second faster than Thomas' time with 17"733. He also took the CI2 non-prb records back with 48"546 and 15"669! To cap it all off, he improved his seemingly perfect WP times with 1'57"852 and 38"963.

While the bulk of Ben's activity was on the non-prb side, he managed to get some pwnsome prb times as well. First was DH 3lap where he got the number three time in the world with 1'11"207. Ben briefly held the PG 3lap WR with 1'26"202 until Thomas went sub 1'26 with 1'25"955. He also improved his CI2 3lap to 46"005 which is the fastest time with egg1 so far. Thomas remains the only player with a run under 46 seconds, thanks to the polt, and stays comfortably ahead with his 45"431 from almost a year ago. Lastly, Ben is the fourth player to sub 1'11 on LC1 with 1'10"912 and sub 12"500 on MC1 with 12"497.

The next player to cut some AF this week was #13 Matthew Ord with his 6 new times. He also played some WP coming close to the flap God with 39"536 Myth A. Matthew got some more Myth times on WS with 1'56"953 Myth C and 38"316 Myth B. He also got MMF 3lap 1'04"391 Myth E and DP1 3lap 56"639 Titan A. Lastly, he went sub 39 on MC1 with 38"898 which ranks 21st. While he did not move up on the non-prb charts, he did make it to #19 on the prb side. It won't take many new times to catch up to fellow Myth C player #12 Nicola Gatti, but the UK duo remains a good 2-3 AF points ahead.

#19 Nicolas Barco was on the move again cutting an AF point with just 6 new times. On PG, he improved his times to 1'28"455 Myth C and 28"640 Myth D. He came up big on FS scoring 1'39"131 and 32"350, both God and ranked 7th. Lastly, a new LC2 non-prb flap of 26"185 Titan C and YC flap 28"186 Myth D. His efforts were rewarded moving up one spot on the non-prb chart and reaching Myth D overall. Similarly, #23 Lenny Andreev went up one rank but used 4 new times to get it done. Some pretty average stuff like KB2 non-prb flap 13"318 God, BP 5lap 43"116 and flap 8"293 which are both Myth E. Lenny showed his stuff though on SG where he took the non-prb 3lap record hopping the sc 3/3 to take his first WR with 1'08"261! Lenny however did more work on the prb side moving up to #23 there as well. Those times included MC1 3lap 38"648, PC flap 17"364, SG flap 20"497, KB2 3lap 41"348 and flap 13"145. His next best though was LC1 flap which ranks number three with 23"261!

Near the top 30 still, #30 Zach Sterling and #31 Pol Gonzalez did not move anywhere again on the non-prb ranks in terms of AF and ARR. Pol however moved up to #27 on prb to keep defending his title as Spanish Champ there. Onto some bigger activity, #39 Joep van Gelder moved up about 10 places from last week with a big 6.4375 AF cut! He stormed up the Titan C ranks almost reaching Titan B overall. While he did not play many tracks, they were awesome times for where he is ranked like getting 1'26"619 Myth D and 28"195 Myth E on CCB. Joep is really taking his Dutch status seriously because the current number 1 of the Netherlands, #34 Mark Engelsman, is only 3 AF points away. While Joep has some more work to be done on non-prb, he took the title of Dutch #1 on prb this week thanks to his big cuts to get ahead of Mark there. The question is how far will this Dutchie go and can anyone from there reclaim the kind of legend status Zgetto enjoyed?

Lastly we have #57 Carlos Munoz, #63 Jay Kreeler and #94 David Roldan wrapping up the top 100. Carlos almost reached Titan D again this week and cracked the top 30 on prb to stay close to Pol for the Spanish Crown. Jay moved up one spot with two new times, KB2 3lap 44"060 and RR 3lap 2'02"923 which are both Hero B. David was the biggest cutter in the top 100 this week with -13.4380 AF and went from Hero D to Hero C overall. He's #91 on prb and has his some high ranked times like RR to additionally prove Spain has what it takes to keep cruising up the ranks.

Movement outside the top 100 included #123 Scott Kaforey -3.4220, #129 Andrew Mao -5.7970, #138 Haddon Power-Cohen -3.4220, #170 Patrick Chea -6.8900, #179 Austin Gates -4.6100, #184 Florian Valandina -3.1880, #198 Richard Penkalla -7.4220, #199 Dimitri Mentali -1.8910, #267 Nicholas Harvey -29.7030, #453 Daniel Sampson -23.2970, #460 Joe Loose -5.0160, #472 Toni Leino -18.1090, #563 Zack Weber -0.4370, and #584 April Thompson -0.9060, OMG a girl not underage, hai <3 !

New Records

There were 7 WR's improved (blue) and eleven non-prb times (pink).

It was quite a WR frenzy this week which started with Fabien Da Silva taking back the YF flap from Abel Marques with 15"190. Next was Thomas Bolton who set his eyes on SR with first taking the 3lap record with 1'38"852 before using prb to take it down to 1'38"563 and 32"350, live 3lap and flap replay. Ben Stoneman got the PG 3lap record with 1'26"202 but Thomas took it back with another barrier breaker run of 1'25"955. Michele Magnaterra tied another WR which was Christian Lapeira's Test Circle time with a seemingly maxed out 3"208. Lastly, Ben got it done on WP again with new times of 1'57"852 and 38"963.

For non-prb, Thomas holds the SR 3lap narrowly with 1'38"852 and fell short of the LC2 flap God with 25"500. Abel took the MC flap with 29"474, Fabien has the YF flap with 15"190, Lenny got the SG 3lap with 1'08"261, and Ben got the rest with PG flap 28"001, DP1 flap 17"733, CI2 3lap 48"546 and flap 15"669, WP 3lap 1'57"852 and flap 38"963.

Awards

Once again lots of activity but one player made some big cuts near the top. With over 6 AF points cut, he jumped up ten places to join the top 40 and Titan C overall. With massive % cut and taking the Dutch Crown on prb, Joep van Gelder wins the POW for the third week of November.

Movement

As mkds enters it's 4th year of competition, the top players continue to amaze as WR's keep getting pushed to the max. Although #1 Thomas Bolton and #2 Ben Stoneman were active, they did not manage any AF cuts thanks to the the "officially retired" #3 Giulio Cetrone. His recent batch of pr's was enough to pass #4 Fabien Da Silva on non-prb and bring Ben another tenth of a point closer to Thomas. Of course, Giulio's focus was on DS where he took back the records from last week with an insane 1'29"526 and slightly better flap of 28"831!

Also active were #9 Michele Magnaterra, #10 Milan Pacino, and #11 Abel Marques. Michele improved three new times including TTC 3lap and YF to take 0.75 off his AF to close the gap between him and #8 Cole Gilbert. Due to Abel's activity, Milan woke up to keep to defend the non-prb UK crown with 7 new times. Milan beat his CM, CCB, BC2, and LM 3lap records amounting to a 0.5313 AF cut. Although Abel scored the most new times in the group, he only managed to remove 0.4375 AF points. His effort was rewarded though by moving up to #4 on the prb chart! Abel has 52 CR's on prb and 29 on non-prb so unless Milan really gives it a go, there is little to stop the monster pace he has been on lately. They both went sub 3.0 in ARR at Myth C while Michele just missed making Myth B overall at 2.5 overall. Let the war for the top 10 continue!

Farther down is #23 Tim Shelbourne who made good on TTC going sub 1'32 first with his first WR getting 1'31"860! Additionally, he improved his TTC flap to 30"238, DH 3lap 1'13"451 Titan B, and MC flap 30"006 Titan C. Right behind is #24 Lenny Andreev who is starting to get his share of pwnsome times like MC1 non-prb 3lap 41"896 and LC1 prb flap 23"346. Tim cut about a half AF point while Lenny took off one. They are both Myth E overall with Lenny leading in God times with 8 to Tim's 7. Just managing a WR should be enough of an accomplishment for Tim though this week.

Near the top 30, #30 Zach Sterling and #31 Pol Gonzalez did not move anywhere on the non-prb ranks in terms of AF and ARR. Pol however moved up to #28 on prb to defend his title as Spanish Champ there. Despite cutting about an AF point each, it was not enough to dig out of that graveyard just yet. Farther down, #43 Dallas Wilde moved up one spot with new times on DS. #48 Joep van Gelder went up two spots despite a big 4.5 AF cut which helped him reach Titan C overall.

Lastly we have #57 Carlos Munoz, #64 Jay Kreeler and #87 Ben Sackville wrapping up the top 100 again. Carlos almost reached Titan D overall this week but continues to focus on the prb side where he is just 2 AF points away from reaching the #26 spot. After working through his own AF graveyard, he is in a heated battle with Pol for that Spanish Crown. Jay sent in his share of times but was only rewarded on the prb side jumping up a few spots to #65. Ben moved up 3 spots and joined the top 100 on the prb side now. He got his first Myth time on, not surprisingly, KB2 taking his time down to 13"499. He improved some other places like RR and PG which helped him make the move in AF.

Movement outside the top 100 included #105 David Roldan -6.1710, #136 Andrew Mao -9.4210, #140 Marcus Whitley -1.4070, #142 Haddon Power-Cohen -5.3280, #186 Florian Valandina -1.5160, #187 Robert Lee -16.5620, #199 Dimitri Mentali -10.7970, #202 Richard Penkalla -6.3900, #304 Nicholas Harvey -65.4070, #465 Joe Loose -73.5460, #479 Daniel Sampson -0.5000, #488 Toni Leino -16.4380, #497 Kevin Booth -23.0630, #563 Zack Weber -3.2660 and #571 Greg Coffino -8.0470.

New Records

There were 6 WR's improved (blue) and five non-prb times (pink).

Marshall LeVett started things off on CCB again improving the flap six times before ending up with 27"182. He also took the 3lap there with 1'23"835. It was not meant to last though as Thomas Bolton struck back once more with 27"166 and 1'23"709 before taking that down to a shocking 1'23"433. Tim Shelbourne got the first sub 1'32 on TTC with 1'31"860 but Thomas was ready to take that back too with 1'31"699. Ben Stoneman got the MC 3lap with 1'30"101 but fell victim to Thomas' reign of terror as he took that record sub 1'30 for the first time with a historic record of 1'29"913, live replay Lastly, Giulio got the DS records back with 1'29"526 and 28"831. There has been no word if Thomas will fight for these again, or at least very soon.

For nonprb, everything except Thomas' terrific MC 3lap.

Awards

It has definitely been the WR craze lately and without huge jumps below them, the toppies really stood out this week. Coming back to the game and making big improvements is easier said than done. With enough motivation, even the impossible can become a reality. Getting a nice batch of times this week, reclaiming some WR's in a hurry and reaching #3 overall, Giulio Centrone wins the POW for the second week of November.

Happy Birthday! LOL ~ETCH

Movement

It must be something about the holidays coming up but around this time of year, site activity sure picks up and most importantly at the top of the charts. #1 Thomas Bolton continued his WR shenanigans picking up the BB flap from #2 Ben Stoneman finally with 34"486 which is just 4 thousandths of a second faster. It's been nearly a year since we saw some action on DS but Thomas decided to challenge #4 Giulio Centrone again for these records. He came up big with a new flap of 28"868 and recently reported a sub 1'30 of his own narrowly beating Giulio's nice looking time with 1'29"973. No doubt we will see some new times from Giulio after such a karting sin as this! So far he has only submitted some prb times on KB2 with 41"200 and 12"897 moving him up to #5 on the prb charts.

Ben was also getting things done this week in mkds finally reaching those elusive subs on WP. Who da thunk it? Back when egg1 was still the top choice, a kart change was laughable but most importantly damn hard to pull off. Surely the polt would be used before the BLS? After your run of the mill karters started subbing 40 with BLS, you knew it was a matter of time before a top player found a suitable strat and had the skill to make it pay off big time. It's been roughly six months in the making but Ben was able to produce the sub 1'58 and 39 times on WP. Probably best to watch the 1'57"989 and 38"989 to appreciate their true beauty. Both ending in 989, coincidence or destined to be by the kart Gods? He also improved some other times like DS flap 29"099, BP 5lap 42"921, and LC1 prb 3lap 1'11"399.

#11 Abel Marques made his mark this week taking back the YF WR's! Yes, it has been a long time since we saw activity here but #3 Fabien Da Silva's times were on his hit list since Abel had the flap here before. First was that flap driving a ever so slightly faster time of 15"213. He later doubled the fun though and got the 3lap and a new flap to boot with 46"435 and 15"203! He also got BC2 3lap 1'33"590 Myth C but having some WR's again is much nicer though. Just another AF point until he passes #10 Milan Pacino on non-prb and less than that to reach #4 on prb!

#13 Matthew Ord keeps cranking out the occasional pr's which moved him up to Myth C overall. Some rather top notch times including TTC 3lap 1'33"424 Myth A, flap 30"461 God, LC2 3lap 1'18"905 Myth D, and flap 25"940 Titan A. #20 Nicolas Barco improved his BB 3lap to 1'47"626 Myth B which was enough to finally take to take the title of French Champion on the prb charts where he is #11 now. Only 2.5 AF points left to take the non-prb title which would take him to the top 15. Who says slowly but surely can't win the race?

Might as well mention it here, #23 Tim Shelbourne got a 1'32"193 on TTC 3lap. Holy crapz, is that like close to the WR? Why yes it is, the pattern that has been emerging recently is that some WR's are not that strong due to the lack of a serious challenge. Since updating WR's are my fav, it's good to see some fresh faces coming close to putting their mark on the game. Good luck with that sub 1'32 there dude. In the midst of an AF graveyard, #30 Zach Sterling got some new times on LC1 with 1'13"730 Myth C and 24"175 Myth B but didn't get anywhere. #39 Florian Lorang didn't move at all on non-prb but made a killing on the prb charts jumping up to #15! He got some solid times to get it done with CCB 3lap 1'25"827 Myth B, flap 27"751 God, WP 3lap 2'01"956, and 40"176 both Titan A. Like most cool dudes, he knows the men play prb.

Closing up the top 50 are #44 Dallas Wilde and #50 Joep van Gelder. Each player moved up a few spots and cut around 2.5 AF points. Dallas though reached Titan C overall as he keeps steamrolling over his time sheet. Good times all around, YF god's with 47"468 and 15"544 to name a couple. Joep was able to make some cuts by not limiting himself to his better tracks, only more AF cuts will come if he keeps that habit going.

Last but not least #57 Carlos Munoz -2.6876, #64 Jay Kreeler -3.4531, #90 Ben Sackville -3.8440. Just like last week, they each got some modest cuts with Jay reaching Hero A overall and Ben getting Hero C overall. Carlos is the balla of the bunch though by moving up to #33 on prb and is within striking distance of the title of Spanish Champion!

Movement outside the top 100 included #110 David Roldan -6.0940, #121 Basile Boffy -7.5780, #139 Marcus Whitley -9.5620, #146 Andrew Mao -11.2500, #148 Haddon Power-Cohen -12.8750, #197 Robert Lee -7.0630, #208 Richard Penkalla -5.2810, #211 Dimitri Mentali -36.5000, #284 Elliot Griffiths -8.5470, #321 Michael Tunzi -53.9380, #325 Pavli Denis -65.0320, #341 Brian Smith -47.7190, #356 Nicholas Harvey -63.8590, #478 Daniel Sampson -16.2810, #501 Toni Leino -12.8900, #522 Kevin Booth -12.6250, and #535 Joe Loose -20.7820.

New Records

There were 8 WR's improved (blue) and seven non-prb times (pink).

Ben Stoneman made headlines with his barrier breaking WP times of 1'57"989 and 38"989. Also in the mix was Fabien Da Silva who randomly appeared to take the LC2 3lap with 1'14"400, live replay :noel:. Thomas Bolton took the BB flap with 34"486 and both DS times getting 28"868 and most recently 1'29"973. Last but not least, Abel Marques got the YF times with first 46"451 and 15"213 but settled with 46"435 and 15"203.

For nonprb, everything except Fabien's fabulous LC2 3lap.

Awards

Big improvements are all the rage near the top and some serious improvements just keep on coming for this player. Just at Titan E a month ago and he is already on his way to Titan B overall. With a bunch of God times to go along with that decent % cut, Dallas Wilde wins the POW for the first week of November.
