| Movement #3 Kouider Benarioua has been looking scary the last couple of weeks. He reported another super week by racing 6 new times, of which 2 were WRs. He cut 0.34 pts to reduce his AF score to 3.65. Meanwhile, both #1= Hendrik and #1= Richard dropped by the same margin to hit AF scores of 3.03. This places Kouider only 0.6 pts outside of really shaking things up at the top. Kouider also lowered his ARR by 0.15 to reach the 2nd lowest ARR score; Hendrik is still the ARR king, Richard is still the Total Times king and, as of last week, Kouider became the WR king. The rest of the month should be worth watching. #163 Alvaro Fababu moved up 3 places. He improved his best record, his Mush Bridge lap, from Myth C to God standard. Quite a cut, indeed, and it's even ranked in the top-25! For the curious: a total of 45 players have scored at least one god time, and Alvaro is now the new "lowest player with a god time". The previous holder of this sort-of-record was #96 Alan DeLoriea, who is ranked 70 positions higher than Alvaro. As mentioned last week, #650 Kevin Pillinger promised to give MKDD some much needed attention. He raced 19 new PRs for this week, the second week of his comeback. Kevin's AF cut was 48 pts and he moved up 47 places. New Records Kouider strikes gold again, racing a pair of records. The first was in Bowser Castle lap, where he smashed the previous WR by 0"3 seconds. The new time of 44"606 G+10 beats Richard's old record of 44"90 G+4, and keep in mind that they are the only two players who have subbed 45. Kouider's second record was SL flap 23"764 -- a 0"05 win over Hendrik, but he already held the record. This means his record tally increases to 11 WRs, while Richard drops down to 9 WRs. No change in the other figures. New Players No new players. |
